Minnie Szyslak is the sister of Moe Szyslak and a mattress saleswoman.
History
When Minnie was young, she would star in television commercials for Mattress King with her family.
When Moe went to make amends with his father, Minnie and Marv showed up at Mattress King. She acted hostile towards Moe, wanting to get into an argument with him. Marge then talked her and the rest of the family into having dinner with the Simpsons. When they did, they began to argue around the table until Homer showed them an old commercial they were in together, which made them realize they were a family.
Morty announced to his family that he was retiring and was giving each of his children their own store, including Moe. At the opening of Moe's store, the commercial had been edited by Minnie and Marv to make Moe's store seem bad. After this, the three of them entered a rivalry with Minnie and Marv trying to ruin Moe's store and vice versa. This eventually ended in a standoff between Moe and his family in the Mattress King Warehouse where Moe threatened to throw a jar of bed bugs over the mattresses. Moe ended up dropping the jar and Minnie fled the warehouse with everyone else.
