Race Banyon (voiced by Hank Azaria) is an astronaut in the episode "Deep Space Homer". NASA tries to improve their image by sending an average joe, Homer, into space. His shuttlemates are Banyon and Buzz Aldrin. Banyon is impatient with Homer and when it looks like they all are going to die, Banyon declares that he is taking Homer to hell with him. Though they are saved by the Inanimate Carbon Rod
