After Laura made Bart faint in the basement of her new house, he developed a crush on her. Bart was later heartbroken when he found out that she was in love with Jimbo Jones. When Bart prank called Moe's Travern, Laura thought that Jimbo had prank called the area, and she decided to break up with him. She then stated that she would date Bart if he were a little older: "If you had a bad teenage moustache, I'd go out with you in a second." She then kissed him[1] Ever since the events of "New Kid on the Block", Bart and Laura have never talked to one another again.
