Otto-Mat is a story featured in The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror From Beyond the Grave.

Synopsis

Otto is in a vending machine and Kang attempts to purchase him for lunch.

Plot

Kang is feeding coins into a vending machine that is stocked with humans in its food slots, and is frustrated with the "primitive delivery system" restricting his access to the food supply. Otto, in slot B2, has been listening to the coins that Kang has been depositing, and observes that he's now up to $2.25: "25 more cents and I'm toast!"

Kang finds another quarter and is about to put it into the machine when Kodos interrupts him, telling him that that is their last quarter and she needs it for the parking meter. Kang hands her the quarter. Otto then points out that because the aliens' ship smashes everything they land on, they don't need to put money in the parking meter.

Kang and Kodos smile as they realize that Otto is correct. Kodos hands the quarter back to Kang and tells him to enjoy his lunch. Kang then puts the quarter into the machine and presses the button for slot B2. Otto barely has time to say "Oops" before the trap door of his food slot opens, sending him plummeting down the machine's delivery chute.
