Dan Castellaneta is a voice actor and comedian.

History

Dan Castellaneta works as a voice actor at Fox. The Simpsons meet him while on a tour of the Fox lot and Castellaneta warns Homer not to stick his head out of the tour tram, which he promptly does, smashing into a statue of Mischa Barton. The tour guide refers to Castellaneta as the star of The Tracey Ullman Show.[1] Castellaneta is also the voice of Angry Dad. He was chosen because he was able to mimic Homer's.[2] He also works as a comedian at a club in Chicago, where Homer and Mr. Burns told him to act a scene featuring a "a drunk millionaire at a Starbucks in Siberia".[3] Castellaneta does not voice Angry Dad again in Angry Dad: The Movie, as he ruined his voice screaming after he didn't get paid for the show.[4]

Behind the Laughter

In reality, Dan Castellaneta is the voice of Homer, and many others, on The Simpsons.
