On This Day in Springfield History: 1959' is a story about Springfield from 1959 in Bart Simpson Comics that appears in Bart Simpson #75.
Plot
After almost a month Springfield officals remove the "decorative bunting and streamers" draped over the Jebediah Springfield statue when a citizen points out that it's actually toliet paper thrown there by town holligans.
