The Prince and the Penal System is a Bart Simpson Comics story that appears in Bart Simpson #72.
Synopsis
Bart has stolen all coffee from the teacher's lounge as punishment let Principal Skinner Bart take part in the TV program Kids 'N' Cons. Bart thinks it's a good idea but then Lisa reminds him that Homer always look at the program he gives the ticket to Martin Prince after he tricked him it is the ticket to the new aerospace museum.
Bart is home after school and Homer and Bart are watching an episode of Kids 'N' Cons and it is the episode where Martin is a participant. Bart is worried how it will go for Martin in the episode, he must spend a full day with criminals, it turns out that Martin, unlike the other participants in the series will get along well, they have fun together, they play Viking & Vampires, playing with chemistry kit and crocheting. The Broadcaster is satisfied with this episode and let Martin next fall become host for Smart Eye for the Thug Guy where Martin rehabiltates prisoners with knowlegde. In the first episode, he helps prisoners solve crossword puzzles.
The family Simpson watching the episode and Homer tells Bart that Martin is a winner and asks why you he not do anything like him. Lisa reminder Bart that he also get time off from school when the filming the show, this made Bart realize that he was stupid to give away the ticket to Martin.
