Town/City Information

Albuquerque is the largest city in the U.S. state of New Mexico.
History
Waylon Smithers wrote and co-starred in Malibu Stacy: The Musical, a play about the Malibu Stacy doll. When it came time to perform the play, Smithers booked the production into the Albuquerque Theater.[1]
Later, Homer Simpson learned that Howard K. Duff VIII, the owner of the Springfield Isotopes, was secretly planning to move the team to Albuquerque. Duff forcefully denied that any such plan existed, in spite of Homer's accidental discovery of a room full of merchandise labeled "Albuquerque Isotopes". Homer then went on a hunger strike to force the team's ownership to admit the truth.[2]
