The United States of America, more commonly abbreviated to USA is the country in which the Simpsons and most of their friends live.
History
America was originally 13 separate colonies ruled by England. In 1776 America declared itself independent and won a war with England. After years of westward expansion America fought a war with Spain and became a world power. After World War II America became a global superpower. This became a problem because terrorists from within and outside the United States arose to challenge its newfound power.
