Cheezus H Rice is a food product sold at Springfield Grocery Store. Judging by its name, it is composed of cheese, rice and possibly other ingredients.
History
When Maggie climbed to the top of the grocery store's shelves to play a prank on Gerald, several boxes of Cheezus H Rice were on a shelf that she passed on her way up.[1]
Behind the Laughter
- Cheezus H Rice is a pun on the expression "Jesus H. Christ".
- Hiding puns in the backgrounds of his cartoons is one of the artistic trademarks of Sergio Aragonés, who wrote the Maggie's Crib series of comic stories.
