Titanic is a 1997 film by James Cameron starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. It is based on a real-life maritime disaster, namely the sinking of the RMS Titanic in 1912. The film was one of the biggest box-office successes of all time and won 11 Academy Awards.
