Whoopi Goldberg is an American actress, comedian, author and talk show host.
History
She is one of the many people on "Ned's List of Laudable Lefties".[1]
When Principal Skinner made the joke "You know, when Superintendent Chalmers suggested a school mural, I almost thought he said 'a school Muriel'." and didn't get a reaction from the crowd, Bruce Vilanch, who wrote the joke, said "Whoopi would've made it work."[2]

When Homer was an artist, Lisa tried to make him mad by reading the newspaper. Lisa read him an article saying that David Letterman might be hosting the Oscars, with other contenders being Whoopi Goldberg and Billy Crystal.[3]
