Production information
- Terry W. Greene and Ben Schatz were credited for playing guest voices in this episode but had unknown roles and have been rumored to play Julio. The Complete Guide said that Ben Schatz played himself.
- Karl from "Simpson and Delilah" was supposed to reprise his role (appearing as one of Homer's gay roommates), but Harvey Feinstein turned the part down.
- Grady is voiced by openly gay comedian Scott Thompson, while Julio is voiced by Hank Azaria, who uses a gay lisp similar to the one his character used in the movie The Birdcage.
- "Weird Al" Yankovic appeared as himself again in the Season 19 episode "That '90s Show."
Cultural references
- The episode's title is a pun on the 1975 movie Three Days of the Condor.
