The Gateway Arch is a monument in St. Louis, Missouri.

In the opening sequence of Thicker than Waters, the Waters family is seen flying a kite which gets caught at the top of the arch.

Behind the Laughter

  • In real life, the Gateway Arch is over 600 feet tall, larger than it appears to be in Thicker than Waters.
