Susan is a member of Springfield's cultural elite and frequents the local country club, along with her equally wealthy friends Gillian, Elizabeth, Evelyn, Roberta, Patricia, and Karyn. Susan has a sneaking suspicion that L.L. Bean and Eddie Bauer are selling her the same honey. She met Marge after Evelyn invited her to Springfield Glen Country Club. She finds Marge's first impressions bad and say you only get to make one. When she play cards and Marge and Evelyn won, Roberta remarks that she and Susan could have stopped them if Susan had changed to a different suit.
