The Albuquerque Theater is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was the venue in which Malibu Stacy: The Musical was performed.
Waylon Smithers wrote a musical about the Malibu Stacy doll and booked the production into the Albuquerque Theater. Smithers also co-starred in the play, along with an unnamed actress who played the role of Malibu Stacy. Most of the audience enjoyed the play; however, at the end of the song "Sold Separately", one bored-looking man gave his wife a dirty look and said, "This is better than a movie -- Why?"
