India is a country in Asia and is Apu Nahasapeemapetilon's home country. Kwik-E-Mart headquarters is located here and Apu and Homer travel here to get Apu's job back. The nuclear power plant was going to be outsourced to India and Homer is taken there and meets a relative of Apu[1].
It is also said that cows are worshiped there[2].
