- Alarmist is a parody of the Citizen app, an app that sends users location-based safety alerts in real-time.

In Season 27 Lisa said Marjorie instead of Mom emulating how Bart calls Homer by his first name which Marge knows is out of disrespect. ("How Lisa Got Her Marge Back"). In Season 31 Ralph playing the role of Homer said the opening line "Where's my beer, Marjorie?" in Long Day's Journey Into Light Beer, the play about her family Lisa wrote for the school's dramatic showcase.
