Los Simpson is the name of the European Spanish dub of The Simpsons.
Contents
History[edit]
The first episode ever aired in Spain was "Some Enchanted Evening". It aired on TVE on January 20, 1991. Next day, TVE announced that series will be aired weekly on La2, the second channel of TVE.
Voice Actors[edit]

Carlos Ysbert starts to dub Homer since season 12 onwards when he replaced Carlos Revilla who died in year 2000. Margarita de Francia is the third actress providing the voice for Marge and her sisters after Amparo Soto (seasons 1-3) and Begoña Hernando (seasons 4-5). Both stopped dubbing Marge due to voice problems with her character. Sara Vivas and Isacha Mengibar provides the voice for Bart and Lisa respectively since first episode.

Guest stars[edit]
Most of the time, guest stars are dubbed by it regular voice actor in Spain. For example, Sideshow Bob voice actor (Antonio Esquivias) provided the voice of Kelsey Grammer in Frasier. This was an idea of Carlos Revilla, former Spanish dubbing director.
