Exit Through the Comic Shop is a Bart Simpson story first printed in Bart Simpson #85.
Synopsis[edit]
- "Critics herald El Barto as the breakout artist of his generation -- but when someone steps forward to take the credit, the real El Barto has something to "spray" about it."
Plot[edit]
Bart scribbles a picture of Homer onto the wall of Moe's Tavern and of course, he sprays his name tag, El Barto on it. Homer sees the picture, and believes that he turned 2-dimensional, much to Bart's amusement. Later that night, a man named Professor Lombardo sees the painting and the next day he talks all about the painting. Lombardo tells the public that he would buy it if El Barto emerges. Sensing that it is his chance for gaining fame,Comic Book Guy then claims that he is El Barto.
