Rock 'N' Roll is a Bart Simpson story first printed in Bart Simpson #72.
Plot[edit]
Bart Simpson and Nelson Muntz have reached the finals in Springfield Skateboard Tournament's 1st Prize Cup. Nelson threatens Bart if he ensures that he wins. Nelson then pushes Bart down the skateboarding ramp and Bart accidentally makes a super jump and wins first prize. Nelson then throws a stone at Bart's face and he loses his consciousness. Bart then dreams that he is going through the evolution of humanity. He starts out as a shrimp but then becomes a fish. When the fish Nelson starts chasing Bart, he escapes onto land and grows feet. Bart then comes across a cave family. Marge forces Bart to wash his graffiti off the wall of the cave, while Homer is about to invent the wheel or as he calls it, "donuts". After Bart cleans the cave wall, Homer asks Marge to throw the garbage off the cliff but Bart throws it behind a green log, which turns out to be a tail of a T-rex that begins chasing Bart. Bart borrows Homer's four donuts, which are stuck on a board, and drives away to a cliff to avoid the dinosaurs. When Bart comes to the cliff he falls from the board and loses his consciousness, causing him to awaken back home in his bed with his family sitting around him. After Bart tells them what he dreamed of, Homer says he likes the story because they were saved by donuts, and that fits his theory perfectly.
