Plot[edit]
Bart arrives at school and finds out Ralph is wearing the new Slipreme Caliphates, a brand owned by Orion Hughes. At home, he asks his parents to buy him the new shoes. Homer waits in line at the store to buy them and the next morning he wakes Bart with them. At school Bart gets popular and tries them on his skateboard, but the shoes suddenly fall apart.
Bart texts Homer at work but Homer hurries to the shop to stop him from returning them, as he bought fake shoes from Mike Wegman to avoid standing in line. At the shop, Homer was late and Bart gets humiliated for both the shoes and Homer ripping his pants off, and everyone recording it for the internet.
At home he retaliates on him when he tries to apologize saying he's the least cool person that ever lived. Suddenly, Orion arrives at the home to apologize for the actions of his employees, offering them brand new and original Slipreme products. Bart invites him to skate together but Orion reveals he never learned how to skate and they start hanging out together and proposes to create a new sneaker with him.
Meanwhile, on his journey to try and become cool, Homer grabs one of the new clothes that Orion donated to them and Mike Wegman notices it and post it on Instasnap and people start liking it. At Moe's, Homer brings the new clothes for the barflies to try and then go to Grill Brush Depot to spread the change.
Bart and Orion create the Bartman One, based on Bart, but when they were organizing the party for the release, they notice how the brand has spread to the uncool and middle-aged people and fears for his brand to get out of business, and Bart discovers Homer started the trend. To stop them, Bart calls Marge.
Marge manages to convince Homer to go back home and make popcorn. Homer redirects the old people to The Museum of Aviation History. In the end Bart and Homer reconcile, however Bart's shoes are sold out so they buy one pair from Wegman and get in line to buy chicken sandwich, while the shoes disintegrate again. In the Orion's dad, Darius, reveals that Orion is a clone of him, just like in his movie.
