History

Bart, Milhouse, Nelson, and Martin met Toulouse-Moetrec in Moulin Rogue. When Milhouse asked who he was, Toulouse-Moetrec introduced himself then told them that he kept liquor in his cane, before pouring liquor into the top of his cane, spilling it everywhere. Toulouse-Moetrec then told the kids that Bart's work was the best thing he had seen and the other kids decided to follow Bart's work. Toulouse-Moetrec then decided to do his first self-portrait and looked in a mirror, getting horrified at his appearance.

Behind the Laughter

Toulouse-Moetrec is a reference to French artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.
