::I noticed the first problems around 1 am, and concluded that the downtime was caused by a power outage near our server's data center. I was able to confirm this by going to the power company's web site. The problem was resolved just after 2 am, at which time I went to sleep. Since then, there seem to have been several intermittent power outages. These power outages seem to be causing only network problems, as the server itself has remained online through all of them according to its [http://imageftw.com/uploads/20120304/power_outages.png network graphs]. (The four gaps are the power outages.) :There's really no way to clean it up other than cutting out unused code. I don't really see that as much of a problem though, as those pages are really only used by people who know what they're doing with Javascript. As for syntax highlighting, I don't really think it's possible. Hi, I'm not sure if you can do this because of your knowledge with CSS, but could you try making the "simpsons" skin a little bit wider or something? If you look [http://simpsonswiki.net/w/index.php?title=User:Randomno/Family_trees/Extended_tree&useskin=monobook here], you'll notice Orville Simpson's name stays on one line, but on the simpsons skin his &dagger; goes on to the next line. A few other things are slightly squashed up too.

Hi, isn't there any extension or something that can look if images are used on several wikis or something, because it's really annoying that images on the swedish wiki turn into red-links when someone here either deletes, or renames the image. www.simpsonswiki.com disappeared[edit]

Dear Jake,
I've noticed that www.simpsonswiki.com "A" record is missing from the DNS. That breaks millions of bookmarks and links worldwide. Could you restore it? Thanks --2F13 (talk) 02:59, December 27, 2019 (EST)

Hello, thanks for letting me know about this. I have restored the A record for the www subdomain, and it should start working again as soon as DNS propegates. Thankfully, it is unlikely that many links were broken as we have always 301 redirected to the non-www domain. Thanks again! --Jake 10:46, December 27, 2019 (EST)
