"The Clown Stays in the Picture" is the 14th episode of season 30 of The Simpsons. It aired on February 17, 2019.

Synopsis

"Krusty reveals the untold story of his past in his movie "The Sands of Space". While working as personal assistants on the movie, Bart and Lisa learn about the early years of their parents' relationship."

Plot

At a road block, Bart's phone battery dies so he tries to listen to what Lisa is listening to, and finds Marc Maron's podcast and discovers he interviewed Krusty, where he gets upset once Marc mensions The Sands of Space.
