Oscar the Grouch is a Muppet on Sesame Street.
History
When Homer saw a man sleep in a dumpster he said that he is like Oscar the Grouch.[1]
When Homer was singing a song about garbage men, Oscar popped out of a trash can.[2]
Oscar was also among the various PBS characters that chased Homer around Springfield.[3]
Milhouse asked Dubya Spuckler if he ever wondered what happened to Oscar on garbage day.[4]
