"Moonshine River" was the season 24 premiere and aired on September 30, 2012. The episode featured guest voices Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Sarah Silverman, and Zooey Deschanel. It was dedicated to Andy Williams, who died five days beforehand.
Synopsis
After Bart realizes that his relationships didn't last long, he visits some of his past girlfriends. Being rejected by all of them, Bart's last ex-girlfriend is Mary Spuckler, Cletus' kid. Learning that she's relocated to New York, Bart goes on a trip to find her. Meanwhile, Lisa and Marge try to find something in New York to do that doesn't cost a fortune.
