When Marge started to work at the power plant Lisa said that the family be just like Marie and Pierre Curie. Lisa explained that they discovered radium and they both died of radiation poisoning. Bart then imagines what happened, picturing they as giants and using radium-eyes destroying a Japanese city.[1]
In Lisa's Dream House she want a famous women statue gallery which includes Cleopatra, Madame Curie, Gertrude Stein, Eleanor Roosevelt, Amelia Earhart, Myrna Loy, Ella Fitzgerald, Anita Hill, etc.[2]
