Synopsis[edit]

When Maggie goes to pre-school, Marge decides to get a job to pass the time and ends up working at an upscale weed dispensary. Homer decides to open his own dispensary that mimics a sketchy drug deal, putting their two businesses at odds.

Plot[edit]

Marge takes Maggie to the Center for Pre-Emptive Education for her first day of pre-school. When she learns she can't stay with her, she checks her favorite mummy blog and tries going to the gym, making ceramics, and then goes to the Nuclear Plant to "sex-prise" Homer at his workplace, but each attempt ends poorly for different reasons.

Marge arrives at Well + Good, where they are hiring, and she makes a good impression. On opening day, she's nervous but manages to make a successful sale—only to discover they sell marijuana, unintentionally making her a drug dealer.

The owner, Drederick Tatum, tries to convince her to stay, but she initially walks away. After bringing the news home, the family encourages her to take the job, seeing that she is helping people, including Agnes.

When Otto tries to buy something, the staff offers him various cannabis-infused products, overwhelming him with choices. Confused, Otto goes to Moe's, where he expresses nostalgia for the old-school style of drug deals. Inspired, Homer, Moe, and Lenny set up a makeshift weed dispensary in the tavern.

Meanwhile, Tatum unveils The Drederick, a cannabis resort and spa, and asks Marge to present it. She refuses, citing Homer's competing weed operation. The only way for her to continue working there is to shut Homer down—but he refuses to stop.

Tatum offers her an alternative: report Homer to the County Health Department. If Homer serves food with his cannabis, he'll be shut down. Marge follows through with the plan, and the department shuts his operation, effectively betraying Homer.

At the resort's opening ceremony, Homer sneaks in and exposes that Marge has never actually tried marijuana. To save face, she samples some and experiences getting high, gaining a new understanding of cannabis.

When Homer tries to light a joint, he accidentally ignites an electronic cigarette, which explodes and triggers a chain reaction that destroys the resort entirely. In the end, Quimby declares cannabis illegal again, while Homer becomes addicted to the cheese balls he used during his short-lived business.
