In a dream of Lisa's the family visited Marrakesh and when they arrived Homer asked his family why Princess Grace would live in a place like this. Lisa then pointed out that was Monaco, not Morocco.[1]

Behind the Laughter[edit]

In much of the plot "Bart of Darkness" is taken from the Alfred Hitchcock directed movie Rear Widow starring Jimmy Stewart and Grace Kelly. In a meta-reference a Jimmy Stewart look-alike starts yelling out for "Grace."
