Fans often get the Legs and Louie confused due to neither of them having any real definitive characteristic and because they are almost always seen together. Legs has a short haircut and raspy voice. Louie has a slight afro and a more high-pitched, even squeaky tone. He says that tear gas is "[his] one weakness," though this is likely an embellishment.

Legs is a member of the Springfield Mafia. He is most often seen accompanying his boss Fat Tony, and his fellow colleagues Louie and Johnny Tightlips.

History[edit]

He and Louie have been Fat Tony's main "muscles" since they were children, and they were the playground bullies of their generation.[1][2]

He is an experienced mob doctor, as seen by his ability to sew Homer's thumb back on after Marge cut it off. According to Fat Tony, Legs was once able to pull out a bullet from Fat Tony's arm and "insert it into a stoolie's (a snitch) brain." [3]

Trivia[edit]

  • It has been established that Joseph Kennedy, father of former President John Kennedy, had something to do with Legs acquiring his nickname, though this is never properly explained.[4]
  • Along with Fat Tony and Louie, he has been seen attending the monthly pancake dinner at the Springfield Catholic Church.[5]
  • When he is not with Fat Tony, Legs can be often seen in the background with Louie,[6][7] although they are also respectively seen at other places by themselves. Legs seems to be a bit of a party animal as he has occasionally been seen at various nightclubs.[8][9]
  • Legs is classified as "The Hired Goon"-type of person in Chief Wiggum's list of "The 45 Types of Alleged Perpetrators You Meet on Your Beat." The police records on the Springfield Mafia describe Legs as a "Gangster/criminal/suspicious type." [10]
  • He has once been reprimanded by the mob accountant Dan Gillick for continuously charging his manicures to the Family's bank account.[11]
  • Legs mentions that he has a sister, and says that Barney takes pictures of her.[12]
  • In the Tapped Out quest "Running With the Bullies", Legs mentions that he had a masters in Fiscal Studies.
