Chief Wiggum watched The Negotiator on a portable DVD player to learn how to deal with a hostage situation during a bank robbery. When he started the film, he was not sure which chapter he should skip to: "Meet Danny Roman", "Trouble Brewing", "Off the Case", "My Baby's in There", "Enter Niebaum", "Take the Shot", "Sabian's Choice", "Check and Mate", "Friends At Last", or "Closing Credits".
