The Canadian Mountie is an unnamed officer in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police who rescued Lisa Simpson.
History
After Lisa went over Niagara Falls, the Canadian Mountie found her and called in for help, having a couple of ambulances and a helicopter arrive to help her. The mountie then stuck around at the hospital and when he heard that Lisa didn't want to go back to America, he helped her get asylum, saying she was politically persecuted against.
When Lisa was back in Springfield, she brought the Canadian Mountie to school for show and tell.
