After Martin Prince participated on Kids 'N' Cons, the broadcaster told him that next fall, he would become the host of Smart Eye for the Thug Guy. In the first episode, he helps prisoners solve crossword puzzles.
The Simpson family watches the episode and Homer tells Bart that Martin is a winner, and asks why he doesn't do anything like him. Lisa reminds Bart that he also gets time off from school when they film the show, and Bart realizes that it was stupid of him to give the ticket to Martin.
