Song Information
|
"Who Wants to Sing about Their Feelings?" is a sea shanty sung by Captain Bowditch.
History[edit]
In an attempt to improve their relationship, Homer and Bart are sent to The Relation Ship. At the vessel, they could use therapeutic techniques to solve father-son conflicts. In one occasion Captain Bowditch said it is never easy to talk about feelings in front of strangers, so he prefers to sing about them instead.
Lyrics[edit]
- Who wants to sing about their feelings?
- Who wants to go first and sing about their feelings?
- I'll go first and sing about my feelings
- I'm so happy to be singing
Behind the Laughter[edit]
The song is a parody of "Drunken Sailor" (also known as "What Shall We Do with a Drunken Sailor?)", a traditional sea shanty.
