== Rules for additions ==
#You must be 100% sure when suggesting an addition.
#Characters with different hair and skin colors do not get added. They are just reused character models.
#Characters only appearing in crowd scenes and don't speak will be under a separate cameo section in the appearances article. You must list the crowd scene they appear in (i.e. angry mob, dome crowd etc.) and the rough time of the scene.
#Staff (rollbacks and above) will have their additions instantly approved. Normal users will have to have at least one other user back them up, preferably a staff member, but another normal user may be sufficient.

Characters that appear on the Simpsons from the start to the Church scene. There are some characters that I'm unsure and/or don't know, feel free to add in their names. Sorry for the bad quality of some images as some characters are hard to see. [[User:Alexmirpas|Alexmirpas]] ([[User talk:Alexmirpas|talk]]) 09:34, December 23, 2014 (EST)
:Are you sure all the characters you listed are like they are normally (i.e. no color errors, hair, skin, clothes etc.)? Also, could you clarify which ones cameo and which ones make speaking appearances? [[User:Solar Dragon|The]] [[User talk:Solar Dragon|Solar]] [[Special:Contributions/Solar Dragon|Dragon]] 11:05, December 23, 2014 (EST)
::Also, before we add these, we need to differentiate between those that only cameo and those that make speaking appearances and bigger appearances too. [[User:Solar Dragon|The]] [[User talk:Solar Dragon|Solar]] [[Special:Contributions/Solar Dragon|Dragon]] 16:52, December 24, 2014 (EST)
:::Separated the speaking characters to the cameos. And many of the characters their color, hair, clothes are exact, without errors, although a few characters in the church change their dress and suit up and I'm uncertain wether these characters are the ones I'd said to be (I've marked this ones with questions marks, so someone could verify them). :<s>I have suspected that for some time. Thanks for telling, although it could be considered something against the policies. See the [[WS:MA|Multiple Accounts policy]]. I don't think it breaks the policy at all. If he doesn't know how to use the wiki, you know each other and you trust enough each other. Anyway, I'd suggest reading the policy page, so you are prevented for the future. In other words, read it so if in the future you're about to do something with Teo's account or so that could break the policy, you'll be aware of it! Also, you could try to teach him the basic things about the wiki, so you won't have to use his account! :::Wow, what a misunderstanding. Then, forget about the message above. Thanks for telling me about my misinterpretation! I've said I suspected it but I actually meant that I suspected it only with the images (he reuploaded a TSTO icon image with a white outline (which is something you usually do) so I thought you might have been uploading them with his account. Obviously, I've known that you and Leo also edit to his website(I think it's his site), so I thought it could be due to that. That's why I then ruled out that you were using his account. But when you've left that message today I first thought «I was thinking right». I have to admit I've misunderstood your message! Thanks for explaining! Hey loco, was reading your article about [http://news.simpsonswiki.com/2015/06/all-about-season-27-at-this-point/ Season 27] and found that Lisa with an "S" link is not working, probably cause of the weird " in the title and the site not recognising them. On the References and Appearances tabs for episodes and comic stories, the <nowiki>"[edit]"</nowiki> links for the sections are on the far left, rather than the far right. == Running bot; is there an archive? ==

I operated a bot in the "big" {{w|Wikipedia}} years ago. I could repair lot of articles with it here too. However somehow I have to collect title of articles that suffer a specific problem. Is it possible to download the archived Wikisimpsons pages at once like in Wikipedia? --[[User:2F13|2F13]] ([[User talk:2F13|talk]]) 15:05, September 24, 2014 (EDT)

See [https://dumps.wikimedia.org/backup-index.html this] and for example [https://dumps.wikimedia.org/enwikisource/20140906/ this page]. One can download all of contents in a form of single compressed file. So it is possible to scan raw text of all wiki pages with a program in order to find specific error. E.g. [[Wikisimpsons:Style_Guide_Episodes#Quotes_tab]] writes
that ''The character's name should be put in a bold, along with a colon, also in bold.'' In million times colon is outside of bold marks. I could fix this my robot but first I have to "grep" the archive in order to find pages to repair. I don't want to crawl the site on-line like Google Search engine does. --[[User:2F13|2F13]] ([[User talk:2F13|talk]]) 00:45, September 25, 2014 (EDT)

== Simpsons Wikia Plagarism ==

Hi, I was comparing this article ([[Hellroads student (4)]]) with Simpsons Wikia's article [http://simpsons.wikia.com/wiki/Hellroads_Student_%283%29 here]. The content from the former was copied into the latter. Also compare:

*[[Hellroads student (2)]] vs. [http://simpsons.wikia.com/wiki/Hellroads_Student_%282%29 Simpsons Wikia's]
*[[Hellroads teacher]] vs. [http://simpsonswiki.com/wiki/Hellroads_teacher Simpsons Wikia's] (only one word change)

It's unfair how their wiki is getting credit for this wiki's stolen content. I was hoping you can give feedback about this. Although the articles on Simpsons Wikia might be changed. And [[Treehouse of Horror XXV]]'s article there is more informative than here, but not necessarily stolen. Work probably needs to be ramped up for that article. == Encouraging Animation Domination Wikias to Leave the Site ==

You know how there is NIWA? I was wondering if we can encourage some communities on Wikia to independently host their animated wikis. In this specific instance I'm talking about Animation Domination wikis on ShoutWiki or independently hosted (e.g. Family Guy Wiki). I've noticed many wikis about animated shows yet to be independently hosted. I think we should encourage wikis like Family Guy Wiki to be independently hosted. I'm surprised it isn't independently hosted yet. It bothers me to see good wikis having article quality problems on Wikia since 2013 (at least that's when I turned on Wikia upon discovering ShoutWiki). The wikis I'm specifically referring to are FOX's animated TV shows, because a wiki affiliation like NIWA would be nice.

Any suggestions or comments? The wiki I mostly want to be independently hosted is South Park Archives, but it doesn't count as a FOX show. Since this is the Simpsons Wiki, I'm talking about Animation Domination wikis. I would quietly suggest this to them to circumvent Wikia staff. Hi Solar!. I'm [[User:Barthony70099|Barthony70099]]!. Sorry for evade the blockade, but I didn't knew that put "Dr." on a name, violates the [[Wikisimpsons:Naming|Naming policy]]. == Christmas-themed featured stuff ==
Hi Solar. This is not something urgent (right now). Some days ago you asked me if I could find christmas-themed featured stuff for next month and I found (or better say uploaded) a good picture and found an xmas-themed episode that fits well. However, I haven't found a proper christmas-related article to get featured (those ones I've nominated fit more as Comprehensive articles). So, is there any article you could think of to be featured next month. (I've also said this on the [[Wikisimpsons:Featured article#Comments_3|article nomination page]] just in case someone thinks of one article and wants to nominate it.) Hi Solar Dragon! I have come up with an alternative to the 'No Image Available' sign on the UK Comics page. (You can see it on the page: [[Simpsons Comics UK series]] ). I would appreciate it if you took the 'no image available' sign of the page, as it blocks pictures which exist after the first 100 issues. == Crossing off task from the to-do list ==

Hi Solar, I was just wondering when does a page qualify to be crossed off from the to-do list? I've been working on the pages for Legs and Louie, both of which were on the list to just 'Improve'. I've completed their list of episode/game appearances, re-organized some profile bio, added some trivia and added references. I'm still going over all their appearances in books and comics (which will take longer than a week since there's so many out there...but I'm always creeping on the mafia characters' pages on a regular basis anyway lol). == The "someone left a message in your talk page" message is gone ==
Hi Solar! I've just noticed that a user left a message in my talk page but the message that appears when someone leaves a message in your talk page didn't show up.(The one with the "clouds" background). :My guess is it's because of the upgrade. You now get a notification between your user and talk page links at the top of the page (the number goes up depending on the amount of notifications you have). Best to ask Jake if he can bring back the old notification as well, as it's better and more noticeable in my opinion. [[User:Solar Dragon|The]] [[User talk:Solar Dragon|Solar]] [[Special:Contributions/Solar Dragon|Dragon]] 16:07, January 13, 2015 (EST)
::I [[User talk:Jake#The_.22someone_left_a_message_in_your_talk_page.22_notification|asked Jake]] but he didn't answer the main question (if the old notification could be brought back). It was more noticeable and I think that it was more visible than "the one there is now", which is hardly noticeable. And if users (basically new ones or those with very little experience) make mistakes and we alert them on their talk pages, they won't easily see the notification (or they won't see it at all) and they would continue making those mistakes. Things like that could happen. We ought to bring back the old one (The one with the "[[:File:Simp2.jpg|clouds]]" background). / [[User:Loco87|'''Loco87''']] ([[User talk:Loco87|'''TALK''']] / [[Special:Contributions/Loco87|Contribs]]) 13:58, January 29, 2015 (EST)
