FEATURED ARTICLE

Barbara Belfry.png

Barbara Belfry is the manager of St. Giles Orphanage and the wife of Sideshow Mel. She also used to be a javelin thrower.

Barb used to be a javelin thrower, until her breasts became too big to be an athlete any more.

Whilst Ned wanted to make the donation anonymously, Barb convinced him to make the donation in the name of someone else, so Ned chose his grandfather, Ned Flanders I. This donation led to Costas Becker going after Ned.

Barb became smitten with Ned and asked him out on a date to the Springfield Winter Market, which Ned accepted. After their date, they went back to Barb's house and Barb invited Ned in. As they made out, Ned noticed that Barb had multiple pictures of her with Sideshow Mel, then realized that she was married to him. Szyslak Brothers.png

The Szyslak Brothers were a crime family.

When Ned Flanders was young, his grandfather, Sheriff Flanders, was at Lachman's Barber Shop and Delicatessen getting a shave when the Szyslak Brothers entered. Slocum Szyslak, the leader of the group, told Sheriff Flanders that he was going to get what was coming to him. Sheriff Flanders sent the barber and his grandson out of the shop so he could receive a bribe from Slocum. Slocum then told Sheriff Flanders that the bribe was bigger than usual as they had a deal with the Capital City Mafia to deal in amphetamines. FEATURED QUOTE

"A greedy man once yearned for more, so the fool began to borrow. He ate and drank and told the bank, "I'll pay the debt tomorrow." But as both dolt and purse grew fat, the calendar grew thinner. The debt collector had enough and hungered for his dinner. The coward ran, with coin in hand, but come dawn, lost his breath. The fool was caught, 'twas all for naught, for the collector's name was Death."
