THERE'S NO DISGRACE LIKE HOME

Trapped in a living hell, Homer faces the awful truth: the Simpsons are the Worst Family in Town!!! An electro-shocking glimpse into the weird world of family therapy.

TAPE TWO[edit]

BART THE GENERAL

Stand back as Bart's attempt to protect Lisa from the school bully explodes into a thrilling vortex of warfare and survival. WARNING: Contains candid expressions of deranged political viewpoints!

MOANING LISA

The fervid spectable of childhood angst is exposed in this story of Lisa Simpson... A smart, sassy, good girl, gone sad. Get bummed to the bluesy be-bob of "Bleeding Gums" Murphy's special musical appearance.

THE TELLTALE HEAD

HEAR — the stark confessions of Bart Simpson, juvenile delinquent! SEE — the thoughtless act of vandalism that turns the whole town against him! LEARN — a lesson or two about empty values and stolen thrills!

SIMPSONS ROASTING ON AN OPEN FIRE

It's better to take than to receive! After Bart's tattoo removal, Homer's failure as a department store Santa, and a bad day at the dog track, Christmas prospects look dim for the Simpsons. But Homer seizes the day and, with the help of Santa's Little Helper, blunders home with the best gift of all - something to share the family's love. And frighten prowlers. A holiday classic!!

*Features the guest voice of Ron Taylor

TAPE THREE[edit]

CALL OF THE SIMPSONS

SUCCUMB to the tantalising allure of the ultimate RV! TASTE the tang of live bees in honey!! BEHOLD the awful beauty of Bigfoot - and his wife!!!

HOMER'S NIGHT OUT

One picture is worth a thousand apologies! When Bart sneaks a naughty snapshot of Homer at a stag party, Homer becomes famous – until Marge finds out. A bawdily instructive tale of bellydancing enjoyed, a household destroyed, and grovelling employed, in which Homer discovers being in love means you have to say more than "you're sorry."

LIFE ON THE FAST LANE

To bowl or not to bowl... In response to his thoughtless birthday gift, Marge teaches Homer a lesson by taking up bowling under the hands-on tutelage of Jacques, a suave bowling instructor, who tries to pick-up more than just a spare. A giddily heartrending romance about splitting up, striking out, getting together, and the true meaning of brunch!

Spy me to the moon! Homer and Principal Skinner send Bart to France in exchange for an Albanian student. While Bart slaves at the Chateau Maison's unsavoury vineyard, Adil Hoxha steals classified secrets from Springfield's Nuclear Plant! A hilariously perilous saga of hopes dashed, grapes crushed, explosive devices flushed, and the miracle of anti-freeze.

Trivia[edit]

  • The box states "FEATURING ALL 13 EPISODES FROM SEASON ONE!".
  • As with the following two boxsets, the episodes are in production order.
  • The cover of Tape One shows the chalkboard gag from "Krusty Gets Busted".
  • The cover of Tape Two shows the chalkboard gag from "Moaning Lisa".
  • The cover of Tape Three doesn't show a chalkboard gag, instead "Parent-Teacher Meeting Today 7pm Room 5" is written on the chalkboard.
  • Oddly all three tapes state "Running time: 91 mins approx.", even though this is not correct.
  • The spines of the three videos in the set formed an image of Bart and Milhouse hanging by their underwear from some lockers.
